where do I get a simple solution for a blog-type webpage?

Hi, I am a content generator and not a web designer but I am no dumb. I need to set up a quick and free website, wordpress or the likes. I need 3 column template, left will be a row of images, clickable with small text. Centre the dymanic part with text and images getting themselves organised chronologically a la blog. Right side I want to link to something like adsense or so to generate some revenue if the thing hits off. Please bear in mind this is an entirely amateur project. Although I am not an idiot I have came to the sad conclusion that I need help and direction. I have a logo, light blue on black so templates on that colour would be great. Please point me to something I can replicate quickly. Of course it has to be beautiful. Thanks
