Moving a blog through RSS?

I opened up an account at GoDaddy and fell in love with their blogging software but I'm trying to import my old blog at Blogger there; and using the feed, I was only able to move around one month, as opposed to the entire blog. The blog is old and has over 1,000 posts. I'm also thinking that since I am using their Quick Blog app, which is free, that this may have something to do with it. They have some interesting features, but there are at least 150 templates to choose from, which is the key reason I went with them. I wouldn't care about my older posts so much except that people still read them, should I not worry about copying them over to another site, or just go with something more professional like TypePad if I am to do this?

2. Feed (Atom/RSS) for your blog is created automatically by the program at blogger. The settings in relation to your blog at blogger should be so chosen that the total content of your blog is syndicated in the feed. Thus when you access the feed through some other blog site, your total post is displayed instead of the first few lines of the post See if this helps http://theedifier.com/blogging-blogger/archiving-post-pages-pinging-site-feed-atom-rss.php
