How do you insert a pciture (logo) onto a name tag template in word?

I am trying to add a logo to the top of a template for avery 5395 name badges. i go to letters and mailings - labels - and copy the logo into there, but it keeps appearing in the middle of the name tag instead of at the top.

1. Either copy and past the picture in from another document and resize it or go to the insert picture feature under "insert" and choose the file you want to insert. Don't forget to resize for the type of labels you will use for your name tag. Once you have it into the merged labels put it where you want it (on the top) and then make sure your text is below using returns. It may be helpful to put the show-hide feature on. If you are merging from excel do the picture before you do the final merge. If you are typing them in by hand you can format as you go along.
