How can I print Christmas Card address labels?

I would like to dress up my labels for my Christmas Cards but I cant seem to be able to merge the Avery template to my data which I have saved in Excel spreadsheet. I print ordinary plain labels like this all the time using J8160 -21 labels to the page but when I download a pre-designed template from the Avery free downloads they fail to merge with my data - any suggestions please? 1 second ago - 3 days left to answer.

2. I use MS Word - Mail Merge to do mine. Firstly, I select a small christmas image and print this on all the labels, usually on the lower right hand side of the label. make is small enough so you avoid the letters of the addresses. Once I have printed enough of the labels, I run them through the printer again - this time using the mail merge application in Wor, printing the names and addresses on the labels. It takes a bit of time but it's worth it for a nice result.
