Is there a template in Word or elsewhere for Avery labels?
What I want is something into which I can type a mailing list that will then print out correctly onto a sheet of address labels. I can probably set it up as a table or something, but if there are already templates it would save me a lot of time today. :-) Avery 8660 in particular.

- If I'm not mistaken, the Avery website should have templates you can use in Excel or a program like that.
- Yes. Check out the "mail merge" tab (Tools --> Letters & Mailings --> Mail Merge). It will guide you through the process. On the first step, select "labels". On the 2nd step, click "label options"... it should already be set for "Avery standard" ... you can then scroll down to find 8660. On the third set, click "type a new list" then click "create". From there you can enter all the address info for each person. You will have to save this group of info as a database file, which the program will guide you through. On the 4th step you can set up how you want to format it. Step 5 is a preview. Step 6 allows you to print your labels. You want to select "print all". Good luck!
- Most likely, you already have what you need as most Word installations come with the settings for these labels in the Envelopes and Labels dialog. If you select the Labels tab, there is an image of a label. Click the image and you'll get a listing of labels of which that Avery version shows. The article below has a tutorial. Skip the Outlook section if you don't use that program.
- Go to Microsoft Word (if you have it) click on TOOLS click on ENVELOPES AND LABELS click on LABELS There you go
