So how can I modify these business card?
I have a couple of business card templates a graphics artist did for us. He's gone now and all I have is a .psd and a .eps file. My question is which one of these is the source file? What software can i edit the text in this with? Are there any freeware softwares than can do it? I am guessin illustrator. But that's not free so if you have any other suggestions that would be awesome. thanks

- My guess is that it will be less expensive to have the cards redone. The cost of purchasing Adobe Illustrator and then taking the time to learn how to use is will exceed any savings you might expect not having to hire a new graphic artist.
- maybe i can be of help -graphic design since 1993 http://www.myspace.com/kristasportfoliospace
- .psd is the source file. .eps is an encapsulated postscript file (in effect a printed file saved as a graphics file that can be inserted into a document). .psd is created using Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. Elements is the cheaper of the two, running under $100 and generally bundled with related hardware (scanner, digitizer, etc.) I am not sure whether Photoshop Elements can edit a document created in Photoshop.
- .psd is the source file you have to edit .psd file and you need Adobe Photoshop and .eps is encaspulated postscript file which will use in printing
