  1. Put the positions with one company all in one. Ex barista/shift supervisor You can summarize your experiences on a cover letter for the things that would not fit. Ex 9 years of customer service, 4 years of clerical/book keeping etc.
  2. Only use the positions that you have held in one field. Ex. all of the sales jobs, all of the retail jobs, etc. You should have a resume for each field of work and keep them separate. If all of your positions have been in the same field consider, doing a skills based resume.
  3. You don't say your age, but 13 jobs is quite a few. List your jobs by year and leave out ones that don't apply or are less the 6 months. Say 7you are 30, if I saw a resume with that many jobs, I would not hire you because it looks like you won't be around long enough to train.
  4. Only go back for the last 5 years on your resume.
  5. Your resume should be no longer than 2 pages. Do not go over 2 pages. Don't repeat yourself either. If you mention something in the objective, don't mention it again in your bullet points. Don't list any jobs that don't have any relevant to your current job. For example, if you are now working in a technical corporation, then don't list being a waitress at a restaurant. No need to list it. I am a hiring professional. If you want to send your resume to me, I will edit it for free.
  6. Hi Your CV needs to list ALL your roles, but only details for the last 5 years - older roles can be job title only (with dates). As others have said unless you have a very strong reason 2 pages long - occasionally 3 - but only if you can clearly show added value. There is a risk you may be sen by some as unable to hold a sustainable position - but this depends if progression can be clearly demonstrated. Whatever else you do DO NOT LIE on your CV/ Resume. Make sure you customize eachCV to each application you make. good luck Check out the link below for useful tips on CV usage...
  7. You should only keep your resume 2 pages long. Only list the jobs that you've had in the past 10 years or as another poster suggested, only include those that pertain to sales/retail, etc. You might want to combine the 4 positions into one section: ABC Company Administrative Assistant / Merchandiser / Store Manager - duties & responsibilities ** Dont forget to include your education and a brief summary of your skills and qualifications! Good luck!
