free web hosting sites?

Firstly, i'm NOT trying to create a blog or use some templates. I've build my own website using Dreamweaver (written in HTML) and i just need a free hosting website to test my work online. (i don't need any unique URL or large space on the server. It's just a trial project and I'm not willing to pay for that!). I've checked WordPress but it seems that it need my files to be written in PHP (not sure of that) I need a free, reliable, and an easy to use hosting website. thanks =)

  1. The limitations with a free web hosting are the space, bandwidth each month and no linking for files. They also post all sort of advertisement onto website. Worst off all, there is no guarantee about the uptime of your website. Some free web hosting does provide control panel with FTP for you to transfer files as well as the use of scripting languages. Other may also provide guestbook feature to your website, btw There is one site that I regularly visit http://www.hostingcoupons.com/coupons/2/Reseller-Hosting.html :)
  2. Wordpress is a template design system You really need free web hosting where you can upload your own files. I'd say it's better to pay the $5 a month and get your own hosting. The performance is much better and you won't have ads on your site unless you put them there. Hostmonster is good .
  3. My experience with free web hosting was quite pathetic. When I read on Webhostingbreak how users have benefited from web hosts like iPage, I went ahead to try their cheapest web hosting plan priced at $3.50. They have one of the most popular methods for payment processing, shopping cart integration so that your online store can provide the most convenient online shopping to your customers. Here's a special link for getting discounts. http://www.webhostingbreak.com/hosting-plan/ipage-coupon/. I hope this helps!
  4. Web hosting companies offer many great features to help create your site and establish a presence on the web. These features include a robust amount of bandwidth and storage, plenty of email accounts and free site builders. Most of them also provide you with additional programming scripts and software to increase functionality with web forms, blogs and much more. According to a recent study by the Yankee Group, web hosting software that offers the most value relates to project management, marketing, merchant services, inventory management and payroll purposes.
  5. http://www.tripod.com will suit your purposes just fine. 99.9% (or possibly better) uptime.

  7. There are a bunch of free hosting sites, but as others have said here, they do have limitations. It may be good enough for you just to test what it is you're doing, but for the long run you may need to investigate some other options. Good Luck!
  8. Hi Ramy, You can use DotEasy free hosting service at http://bit.ly/doteasy-free-hosting if you're not willing to pay for web hosting. This is a good free and easy site to test-drive your work online, but keep in mind that no free hosting site is reliable. Hope that helps. Wisely L
