Microsoft word resume template showing unwanted text?

I used a simple cv template from Microsoft Word to create my cover letter and resume. I proofread/saved it then sent it to my email to check it out, and noticed there is text on the bottom right of my resume that says "Type Personal Name" and I can't cut it from, anyone know if I can remove this, I'm so frustrated it took me a while to customize it to my liking, and it would really suck if I had to start over.

  1. In order to edit the document at all, you will need to make a copy of it - you can't edit inside email. (not being obtuse.. I am amazed at how many folks try this...) Once you make the copy, if you cannot delete the extra stuff - you can cover it up - create a text box, clear fill, no transparency, no border.. kinda like using white-out; or, see if you can change the text color to match the background (white- or transparent)
