I'm 19 and I'd like to start working as a waitress. Can I have tips on writing my CV introduction?
I don't know anything about CV intros. I'm guessing I really should write one if I want to seem worth the training, concidering I have no past experience as a waitress. Any tips on what kind of things I should say?

- LOL, waitressing is one of the first jobs most people do, you don't have to write a CV intro, everyone knows it is a transitional job not one for a career or for super long term (the money just isn't there to support yourself with). If you have to say anything at all, say that you want the 'people experience, the interaction on a short term basis' or something. But beware, the longer you stay in a waitress job, the longer you'll have the stress dreams. Ask ANY waitress about 'the dreams' and you'll see that these are particularly strong. I waitressed for 7 years in two different restaurants. The dreams took 14 years to get rid of. I never dreamt about any other workplace, just the waitressing.
- Don't worry too much about that part. A large percentage of people applying for waitress jobs don't even bring any type of resume at all, so just having any nicely typed up resume will help you stand out. Anything you do write about yourself or your skills/experience should highlight your customer service and/or sales skills. Being a team player and having a good attitude are important, so you can mention that. Dress nicely and smile like crazy. Act as friendly and outgoing and happy as you can when applying and in the interview. Open availability will help your odds of getting a job tremendously, but that's something that you might not have. But if for example you don't want to work weekends just because you don't feel like it, too bad. Write down that you're available for weekends anyway because you're much more likely to get hired that way. You can always change it down the road once you've worked there a while.
