Where can I find templates on Microsoft Word?

I'm just trying to make some handouts for French class, nothing fancy. I just want some areas for pictures and then text of course. But I'm having a hard time finding what I need. I have Microsoft Word 2010..

1. Under File New, you should see a list of template categories. Click on the one closest to what you want to do and a window should open with numerous templates from which to choose. Your computer should be online as some of the templates are downloads from Microsoft. You can directly download templates from this Microsoft site: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/
