writing a cv should i leave this qualification out?

I have an NVQ3 in health and social care which was provided by my current employer, But the job i am applying for is scientific and uses my (subsequently achieved) science qualifications. Should i leave out the NVQ completely - as it lacks the focus of hte overall cv? Or is it good to include because it proves "people skills" and health and safety etc thanks muchly.
