Website business advice?

I'm 15 and I have a website called teamshenep, it's a commercial website and its rated by the customers as 2.44/10 . Obviously is sucks. I'm going to open up a new website, The content is good, It is rated 8/10, I believe I can make money off of it. What is it selling exactly? Website templates. The templates are mainly focused around Gaming websites but I intend to make some templates for all varieties. I was wondering if I should pay for google adwords for customer traffic to get them to buy 10$ pre-made templates or $20 to have one made for them. Do you think I will make more than i spend? Any tips? Any google adword tips? I really appreciate it thank you

  1. Hey man, It's awesome that your starting your own website business, I personally don't think that starting off with Google Adwords is the best way to start. i think there are too many uncertainties and you can lose money quickly. Here are some other alternative: PPV - Traffic is a hell of a lot cheaper and the risks are lower Social Media - Facebook, Twitter, etc.......... And my personal favorite - Organic Search - yes I know, this way takes longer, but if your in it for the long haul, you don't want to overlook this step. It's very important that you do a proper keyword research and find out how you want to tackle this niche. Building back links will be huge here as well as building content. As for the back links, I've been using this one site where this guy is giving away 20 High PR backlinks per month for FREE. I don't know about you, but free is for me, along with that, he also sends you some awesome traffic generation techniques. I know it's been helping me out, so check it out and hopefully the spots are not all filled up. http://getbacklinksforfree.com/deesbacklinks/ Later Paul MC
  2. I started doing web design at a young age too - 14, I'm 17 now and Own my own web Design company too (Limited Liability Company) since this I've learned the tools of the trade and the key to building templates is to be creative, stand out and use the most out of the software to develop something people will love!. No, do not pay for Google adwords, Get on an active forum like DigitalPoint and start looking around at the B/S/T Design section and templates. You will see about how much your designs are worth and what people want. DigitalPoint is a universal website that people around the world go to. Its all about the digitalworld there. I'd say 90% of the people there have websites and make money doing so so there is a good place to start. PS: I would recommend Google Analytics so you can keep track of who visits, where they visit and how they found your website, its a very powerful tool.
  3. AdWords *can* work, but only if you know what you're doing. I strongly recommend learning the basics before throwing money into it. Our cheat sheet might help: http://www.softwarepromotions.com/adwords/cheat-sheet/index.asp
