Avery business cards?

What is the best method, program to use to edit and have the correct format for Avery 5871. On the box it says 8371 template for Microsoft Word. I was going to use Photoshop but what would be the best way to do this. Using Word with a Avery template.

1. Don't use Microsoft Word! Download Avery Design Pro software from their website. It's very easy to make professional looking business cards without dealing with the micro-positioning problems inherent in Word. I've used their software for about a dozen different business cards. They even let you create a template to simplify making similar cards for multiple employees.
2. Microsoft office or works will do it, however if you want to save yourself some ink try Vistaprint, they have several free designs to do that all you pay is shipping (about $8 or so) and many others to choose from that are reasonably priced. My niece has a dog walking business and we found it cheaper to go that way, instead of buying more ink. Check this site for good business card templates and resume templates:
