Blogger Templates help!?!?

Okay, so i use Blogger.com . and I want to change my template into something really cool, and i've been on all the free blogger templates sites and downloaded like many!! ,but every time I try to upload it it says, "Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: Content is not allowed in prolog. " So what do I do!?!?!?
