Why won't my image print in Microsoft Word?

I'll give as many details as I can, as I have no idea what the problem might be. I am using a business card template on Microsoft Word for Mac 2008. I needed the text to go a different direction, so I have used text boxes. The images are inserted inside the text boxes. The images show up on the screen, but do not print (nor do they show up when I do a "print preview"). I have tried saving the document as a PDF, but this does not make a difference. I right click on the images, and select "arrange," however it will not allow me to select the "bring to front" option, nor will it allow me to select any of the other options. Help!

  1. If i had this problem I would avoid putting the images inside text boxes. If you alter the properties of the image you can make it move around freely on the card design. So you can arrange the text boxes and images as independent, movable objects. In the image properties the item to change is propably called "layout" and the option to choose is "square" or "tight". You'll then be able to drag the image to the place you want it in the design. Not sure about the Mac version but I think it will be the same as the Windows version of Word.
  2. You can go office help, it tell you how to insert a imge to word document.
