Mum going back to work after 7 years. Anyone know of a fantastic CV template to explain the gap in employment.

1. yes, say you had children, or lie in the cv saying you been working away in ghana, your new employers will never know!
2. hey all she has to say is she left her last emplyment to raise her family and during that time gained substantial house keeping skills, increased her nulti tasking skills etc, but the first line will be sufficient.
3. Dont know of a template but im sure you will find one online somewhere 7 years gap is no problem......just fill in life skills....eg raised a family, managed a household budget etc
4. This is nothing to worry about, plenty more women like you. Be honest with a potential employer and explain that you took a career break to raise your family ( advantage to new employer as you wont be doing it again soon, you got it over with). Ideally you should be able to display skills, etc you have gained in this time. if you did any courses etc.
