I need some microsoft publisher help....?

Alright I'm trying to make a valentines day card for my girlfriend for valentines day using microsoft publisher. I have a lot of good ideas thatI want to put to use on the card. I am facing one problem however. I don't know what size to pick. Basically I want the card to be a normal 8.5x11 piece of paper folded in half, horizontally. How do I set this in publisher. I saw templates for cards but their not standard letter size. I also want to be able to divide the paper in half, so when I fold the papers in half it'll b...well neat. Thank you veryyy much :)

  1. I haven't used Publisher in a very long time, so my information may be a little inaccurate. However, I do believe you can tell it you want to make a card that folds horizontally, then set then dimensions. You'll want to set the dimensions for one part of the card, not the entire piece of paper, so 5.5x8.5 or something similar. This may be in your page setup or printing options. You can also simply create a page with standard paper size, and set a guide to know where the half-way point is, then experiement with printing on both sides of the paper, or see if your printer has manual duplexing. If it does, it should be under the Finishing tab of your print preferences. I last used Publisher back with one of the first versions of Office, but hopefully there will be enough similarities that you can find something close to what I'm talking about.
  2. Hi, I just looked it up and I found it in "empty publications" a folded tent-card is a Standard paper folded in half it also gives the option to fold it in 4 and 6 spaces I hope it will help you, because the 14 isn't far away
