word / photoshop help needed.?

im trying to make a background template for word for a letter / document. So that all i need to do is change certain parts to have the exact same background with writing on, but different reference numbers and pictures. But prints perfect. If anyone understands this! is it possible? many thanks I have sort of done it in photoshop, But ideally would like to be able to amend it in word. any idea's how?
