How do I make my website into flash from a standard text layout?

I started building my website yesterday and chose to implement a template made available by the hosting company. Today I downloaded a free flash template and I was wondering how to implement the template. The download came with the .fla and .swf needed.

3. In order for a flash website to work, you need the html file. You can open the .fla with a program like (adobe flash) and publish the file (after making the changes you want). It will produce another swf and an html file. You upload the html file and the swf to the web server. If you are a coder, you can do it manually, or if you have a program like dreamweaver, it will allow you to import the swf.
