How do you download a powerpoint and like have it saved in Microsoft Powerpoint so you can always use it?
I'm downloading templates from the internet but when I download them they get saved as some WinZip thing, and I can't use it in Powerpoint unless I open the file up- which I don't want to Always have to do. I just want to go to the powerpoint design template and be able to chose whichever one I downloaded from there. HOW CAN I DO THAT????

- Hi When you download a Zip file you are receiving a file that has been compressed so that it downloads faster. You have to decompress the file, which is usually done by double-clicking the downloaded file. Then the contents of the Zip file become available to you. Template files have .pot or .potx file extensions and get put into your Templates folder. The exact location of the Templates folder varies depending on which version of PowerPoint you are using. Search PowerPoint help on the word Templates and it will tell you where templates are stored on your computer.
