Why do my business cards not line up upon printing?

I am using a template I downloaded from Avery and the cards are printing an inch too high. I have tried to adjust the template to compensate for the error but nothing I try works. I have played with everything from spacing to resolution but nothing will solve my problem. What should I do?

1. I used to do my business cards online but it was so much cheaper to go to vista.com and order them.. after you order them you get emails and then i have gotten alot of cards free.. try and take a look Nancy
2. Have you examined your printer preferences? You may have your top print margin set at an inch. Try to set the margin to zero, and see if that's the problem.
