Microsoft Office Resume Templates....Is this plagiarism?
I have a resume template I would like to use...I changed about everything on it to tailor the resume to my liking. But I just love the objective the author wrote and I can't find any other way to rephrase it. Would it be plagiarism if I left the objective just the way it is? I've been looking for the terms of use of this template but I can't find it anywhere. Thank you!

- Anytime you use another person's writing and present it as your work it is plagiarism.
- Employers don't care about objectives anymore so I would just remove it completely. But, if you want to keep the objective there, I still wouldn't use it just in case the employer decides to Google parts of your resume.
- Your prospective employer has already seen (and probably memorized) the template. By using the objective, especially word-for-word, you are telling your prospective employer, "I can do pretty good research, but I am completely un-original. I let others do my work for me, and then I attempt to take credit."
