How do I insert website template?

My site is hosted at Bluehost. I downloaded a free website template but don't know how to get it on my site. They have a couple of website building programs (Pagewizard Site Builder and Soholaunch) but I didn't download a template from those programs. Its just a basic HTML template. What am I misunderstanding? I know nothing about HTML. I just want to get the template on my site. Please help.

1. First things first... have you changed anything in this template...title, content, etc.? If not, you need to download a free HTML editor. I would say kompozer.net Then you need a FTP Client- Filezilla (also free) to transfer the information of your new site (pages,images,etc) to your server (bluehost) This is the first step. P.S.
