Free scripts for online shopping carts?

Hello. I'd like to build a fairly basic web site in HTML. It will mostly be informative, and cover the history, about us, services etc. This I can manage no problem. However, on just one page, i'd like to list approx 40-50 products for sale online. I'm not keen on the idea of building my website using on online template resource with shopping cart facilities and ASP, or PHP built in scripts, and I'm not really savvy with coding this kind of user interaction, shopping carts etc, so does anybody know if I can get hold of some specific type scripts which I can build into my website, or advise me otherwise?
