Is it possible to merge a free forum into my website?

Hi! I'm a newbie web designer. I know html right off the back. But I'm currently learning php as of the moment. And I don't know how to script my own forum :/. Right now I am working on an important website. And I was wondering if there is a way to import or merge a free forum script with my own html scripted template sources. I hear joomla is good with forums, but I don't know how to use joomla on a server host. Is there another way to use a forum like from, freeforums.com into my own website template? Can I even edit their script to what I want? Is there anything free involved xD! Thankyou~

2. Yes you can place a forum on your current website. All you need to do is make you a forum and on your current website put in the this code ill type at the end and also put in the direct forum link where i have it in caps. 3. u can but the host of your website will delete it. if it's not a licensed copy . the free copies contain a report code especially if the forum is VB type.
