how do you apply CSS index templates to all pages in dreamweaver CS4?

i am using the index.html file i got in the folder how do i apply that to all of the pages

1. You have to save that file as a template with the Web site definition applicable to the site pages selected in the files panel. Then create editable regions, most likely a "main content" section, etc. Then create a new page from a template and select the template you just created. For each html page you want to use the template on: -Open the html page -Copy and paste the content into the new template page -Close the old page -Save the new template file for that specific page with the same file name as the old one to overwrite it. It's probably going to be long and tedious since you're not working with an initial template on all of the pages.
