Any tips for creating free business cards?
I need some clean, professional business card templates, but I'd love to find a free site rather than paying for them. Anyone know of a great site for free business cards that won't make you print their logo all over it?!? What's the best info to include if you are advertising freelance work rather than a company? Thanks :)

- Go to Avery.com and download the template. You can print and cut your self or buy their business card sheets. The are perfect I used them at one of my jobs.
- I had gotten some cards from vistaprint, and aside from their logo plastered on the cards, they were also pretty flimsy. I actually just got my order in for 250 free business cards from another company on really thick high quality paper (16pt, about 75% as thick as a credit card) and no ads...the only catch was that I had to order any type of postcard...which wasn't too bad since I needed to do some summer promotions.
- I have found some resources where you can create free printable business cards. Two of them are Avery Design and Print Online and BizCardCreator.com. For a list of others visit www.small-business-graphic-design.com/free-printable-business-cards.
- At the link below you'll find links to free business cards at Overnight Prints, PrintRunner, VistaPrint, and BizCard. You might also want to check out BusinessCardStar.com which has beautiful looking templates (not the standard fare) that you can print for free with Avery labels. As for the info to include... really whatever contact info is the best way to reach you will do -- whether that's email, website, twitter nickname, But rather than focusing too much on the contact info, focus on creating a card that reflects highly on the kind of freelance work you do. Good luck!
