  1. Dear [Landlord/Landlady's name], I [or we] hereby give 30 days' notice of the termination of my [or our] tenancy agreement. Yours sincerely, [sign here] [Your name(s)] Don't forget to check the notice period in your tenancy agreement and adjust the letter accordingly.
  2. Dear/Sir or Madam. This is a notice of intent to vacate said premises: List your name, address and flat number As per our lease this letter fulfills our obligation of the 30 days notice. Please arrange a date and time for a walk through of the flat. Respectfully submitted, Your signature
  3. Wend, are you ending the agreement while it is in place? Or are you not going to renew? If you intention is to terminate the contract while you are still in a lease agreement you could end up w/ problems. The lease is a legal biding contract and unless your landlord implemented a clause that clearly states that you could terminate the lease agreement with a written notice, than you can still be held liable for the remainder of the rent months that are left in the contract. It all depends on what type of lease is signed ( the term ) and what the lease states.
  4. All you need to do is put your name, address, today's date and the date you're planning on leaving into a letter and that should be fine. Remember if you're on a fixed term contract you will need to wait til that expires however if you're on a periodic (rolling month by month) contract then you can just give 1 month's notice.
