- Hi. If your letter is already typed out, click on Tools, then Letter Wizard. Click the Recipient Info tab. If the names you need are in your address book, you can click on that to retrieve them, if not then typed or copy and paste their name and address in the given spaces. Select the Business radio option button, then click OK. Your letter should now have all the pertinent info for that person, plus the name in the salutation area. You can print that one out, then repeat the process for each new name. The letter will always remain the same and only the name and info change. Hope this helps!
- do you have the names and addresses typed into a program already? How you proceed depends on how your data is stored. If you have it in a word table format, copy it and paste it into an excel document, and save it. Then you use Word to do a mail merge - from within the document, go to tools and choose mail merge option - it will walk you through the entire process. When it asks for your database for inserting the names and addresses, select the excel file you just created. Then it will automatically insert all the data into the letter, creating a new page for each letter which you can print. Have fun!
