Css Template webs.com Problem?

If I get a css code from a certain site, How do I that to my webs.com site. I copied that code I was supplied through winwar. I go to advance in the edit templat part. I press paste and it doesn't change a thing! wHAT DO i DO? Thanks for your help. Very much appreciated
