how do you write an air force rebuttal letter for a LOR?

I got a lor for missing an appointment. How do I write a rebuttal letter? And where do you get a letter head or template to write it on? And how do u begin the letter?

1. Truthfully, your just wasting your time. A rebuttal letter means nothing, The LOR won't be on your record long enough for it to matter. But if you really want to write a letter, go talk to your 1st Sgt. He will tell you exactly what you need to do.
2. well i don't think you need a "rebuttal letter" for your situation, just write a proper memo on why you missed your appointment and you should be fine. make sure you use the right format
