Creating a Custom but Free Website?

I need a free website, but I don't want ads. Is it possible to create a custom website (with custom images, css, layout, etc.) by signing up at a blog website such as Google Blogspot or Weebly and delete their pre-made template and html and use my own? Do I have any other alternatives?

  1. Go to: http://pages.google.com
  2. I use blogger and I love it. The great thing is you can eventually get a domain name for only 10 bucks if you want to personalize it. You can get already made templates at Pyzam or Finalsense or you can start with a template at blogger and tweak it. I use some free websites/blogs that give tips on how to tweak your blog to personalize it. You can also put your OWN banners (through google) on your blog and make money from them.

  4. You need extra permissions on the server, I SERIOUSLY doubt it without a lot of work and hoping they never check their logs. I get webspace with my ISP acc't. All I can think of. You could run a server on your own computer if traffic is, and will stay really really light, and you can afford the bg resources.
  5. you look like to start web programming. My recommendation for you will be to purchase a domain name and use one of poplar CMS like Joomla , Wordpess or Druple. You can edit default templates of these CMS. Thousand of website are there to assist you.
  6. Hey, I think this information can be useful for you. If you plan to get your website, here is one good free web hosting provider to choose - 000webhost. They provide hosting absolutely free, there is no catch. You get 1500 MB of disk space and 100 GB bandwidth. 1500 is very rare to find for a free web hosting site. They also have cPanel control panel which is amazing and easy to use website builder. Moreover, there is no any kind of advertising on your pages. I use it for my business and it's the best one I found, and I have tried MANY free web hosting sites! You can register here: http://www.000webhost.com/142905.html
