I am in need of writing a resume for school or a CV in general? Unfortunately, I have no idea what's important?
What should I include in my form ? Is there a specific format that I should follow ? I was researching CV's online and there apparently are many different types. I am in high school and in various activities. If you could either elaborate or send a direct link that would be great! Thanks loads.

- Keep it simple. Your achievements should occupy an important place. It is very good to use a series of best experiences, as I realized, I planned, organized, I was responsible for, I lead, etc.. Do not lie in your resume. You have to write absolutely everything you can do in computers: hardware knowledge, software, programming languages, databases, etc.. And don`t mention things that you have not done recently, or worse, have never done before, if you're asked at the interview about that operation, you look ridiculous if you don`t know the answer. And do not squeeze your resume and do not keep only one page, even if you have something to say. If its 3 pages, that`s no problem as long as the content is relevant to the job to which you applied. If your possible employer will bother reading your resume, he will quickly lose interest.
- Remember you will need to create a cover letter. If you are still stuck on your cover letter after writing your resume there is an excellent guide found under the resources on this page. Before you can create the body of your resume, you must determine what your objective is. This must be clear and concise as the remainder of your resume will be structured around your objective. It should state what kind of a job you are applying for and what skills you will be bringing to the company that applies to the job you are seeking. When you are detailing your previous job descriptions use bullet points to separate detailed duties. Each bullet point should carry only one sentence. Each sentence should be short and to the point. These bullet points help the reader skim through your resume. Typically the reviewers only give 10-30 seconds per resume. Use action words; $ dollar, % percentage, and # number signs were applicable throughout your resume. These will draw the reader’s attention to those specific areas. Remember that if it doesn’t apply to the job description and if it carries a negative tone, it should NOT be in your resume. Be positive only. The appearance of your resume should be unique. NOT as far as the Reesse Witherspoon on Legally Blonde with perfume. BUT it should be printed on different color paper and on a different size of paper, to stand out and say “HEY Look at ME!” It should be no longer than 2 pages long and use the space of the pages wisely. ADVERTISE yourself. Believe me you want more open space on your resume, also known as “white space” like you would find on eye catching advertisements. So, increase your line spacing. When you THINK that everything is perfect, get someone else’s opinion. An outside view is always nice to have. HAVE an excellent eye catching cover letter. If you can write your own cover letter, GREAT! If you still need extra help on this refer to the resource section in this page for some eye catching ideas that are guaranteed to get immediate responses.
