Help with CSS Web Template?

I am trying to create a website using the clear pixels template from this site:http://www.ramblingsoul.com/downloads/. The problem is when ever i try to create a new table in this template for some reason it always defaults to a blue background. I've tried everything imaginable (code, changing BG color, using a BG image...) but still cant solve it. Please if you know what to do or have any SERIOUS suggestions, HELP ME OUT!!! BTW im using Dreamweaver mx thanks

1. Did you read the statement that have regarding this template This template uses transparent PNG files in the background and it won't display properly in IE. You can download the PNG Fix for IE if you would like to make it work in IE.
