Why is Obama's birth certificate investigation not front page news?

There will be a court hearing in Honolulu, Hawaii, this coming Tuesday, November 18. The lawsuit was filed by Andy Martin. He will ask the court that Obama's official birth certificate be revealed. This hasn't been done so far. Obama keeps everything secret. All that's on his website is a certificate of live birth, which is not a birth certificate. Also, that certificate of live birth can easily be created with a template and a graphic computer program. So this guy, Andy Martin, demands to see either the original or a certified copy. I wonder, if Obama has nothing to hide, then what's the problem? Also, why isn't this front page news? Not even in the local Hawaii newspaper?

3. Any idiot can file a lawsuit. The media generally doesn't cover nuisance lawsuits. Similar lawsuits have all been thrown out, including ones against McCain.

7. I don't really see a problem. It's not really as if your birth certificate influences who you are. It's more to do with your parents than you.

So only the obsessives like Mr. Martin--folks who want to bring him down at *any* price--are still looking into this. To put this in VERY plain terms: It's a non-issue. Barack Hussein Obama was *Born OF* An American Citizen overseas, *at worst*. His mom was an American. That makes President-Elect Obama a citizen *Regardless* of any natterings you guys on the far right can come up with. Even in your worst-case drummed-up scenarios, he was still *born of* a citizen. He's still a citizen under the law. And even so....do you really *truly* want to open up Pandora's Box here? Do you really want the far right to *cheat* a third Presidential Election in a row, in the most flagrant and openly *back-stabbing manner* humanly possible? Can you imagine the backlash that would occur? Folks on both sides, left and right, would flip the hell *out* and try to kill each other. We were founded on the principle of No Taxation Without Representation, and for the past *eight years* over *half* of the nation has had nearly *ZERO* Representation at the Federal level. In simple terms: It's a non-issue. Barack's *Mother* was an American. He was born *OF* a citizen overseas, so he IS in fact a natural born citizen as the Constitution requires of the highest office in the land, *only*. Just deal with it and live your *Life*, will you? Please? This obsessive behavior is both unseemly and bordering on illegal conduct. Just saying.

10. What amazes me is that all this conflict could have been resolved if he had just shown it. When you go to apply for your SS you can't send them a copy they insist that you send them an original. You would think that would be the same or even more important when you running for President. The poster below me who said it just because he is who he is. Not true, it would be the same for you and I, if we were asked for our birth certificate no place takes a copy. This also includes death certificates. Most of you people are missing the point. He may very well be a citizen but he should not be any different then the rest of us when it comes to showing original documents.

13. Just because he's not showing it to the public doesn't mean he's hiding something. Obviously he couldn't run for president by just saying "oh, yeah, i'm an american citizen", you can't even get your SS card without showing your birth certificate, they obviously wouldn't let you run for president without someone seeing it/looking it up.
14. Becuase it's a completely bogus issue. Officials have seen his birth certificate; he had to submit it in order to run. It's not normal to make people's birth certificates public. Uh a Certificate of Live Birth IS a birth certificate. Obama does not keep everything secret. That's simply a lie. The guy, Andy Martin is a moron who believes everything he's told by proven liars. There's no reason to put a non-issue on the front page. I guess the fact there are still so many morons who think Obama isn't qualified is news of a sort.
15. Perhaps because most media sources have the basic intelligence to realise that one of the first prerequisites for becoming a senator let alone running for president is surely to show some government body your original birth certificate.
