I need a simple FTP Manager, to I can edit my files?

I a bought a pre-designed website template. The control panel looks simple. With the preview of the demo, I thought I could be able to edit the content myself without advanced knowledge of computing. It was after buying, that I realize I shall only be able to edit majority of the contents through FTP alone. Please who can tell me where to download a Free FTP manager? Then, how can I edit files, using the FTP manager. Please, list the steps in your answers

1. You need an ftp client. 'core ftp lite' is quite good. I use WS_FTP LE 95. It is no more available for free download. If you can get it, that is the best. By the way, you can't edit your html files with ftp clients. You have to edit the files with your own web editor and upload them with ftp client.
2. cyberdoc is correct. FTP is typically used to move files between your computer and your web site. It is not a file editor. If you post the name of the software you purchased, we might be able to tell you what kind of software you'll need to actually edit your templates.
