I'm searching for free (simple) templates to download; any advice please?

Letterheadings, business cards etc.....

1. That would depend very much on the software you're thinking about using to work with the templates. There's no universal template site. If only there was!!! Normally these are compiled for individual packages, whether that be Adobe InDesign, Quark, Corel Draw or whatever else. See, a lot of this sort of stuff would be available either through user groups connected to the package you're using, or links on the parent company's website (look at the number of templates available, for instance, for MicroSoft Publisher or Corel Draw). 2. Templates for what programs? I have templates for design programs like Quark, and Adobe Indesign? LH, BC, Envelopes, invites, Rack cards......etc. If you need them ill email you them free.
3. Serif offer free software versions of all of their software and many free templates. http://freeserifsoftware.com/
