Where're the Design Templates?

I can't find all those nice looking design templates from Microsoft PowerPoint 2007. Instead I only got plain and lame-looking themes. Where the he*l can I find those beautiful themes and templates? The one I remembered was a picture of an old book with a military medal lying on the table. Last time PowerPoint from the 90s is easier to use, and find things. I've explored the whole PowerPoint and found no design templates. If someone is kind enough to direct me, idiot-proof way.

2. Use your PC's Search function to locate all files with the .pot extension - they are PowerPoint templates (design templates). If the search results only show the templates you mentioned, you can download templates from many sites on the web - just make sure they are saved in the proper folder. If you find there are templates PowerPoint isn't automatically seeing, you can move those files into the folder PowerPoint stores its templates (you can see the folder name in your search results). Or, you can click the "Browse..." option at the bottom of the task pane when you have the slide designs open in that pane to navigate to the folder with the other templates. One thing you need to remember is that, with most software updates, templates that existed in a previous version are often replaced with the "new" ones for the current version. I always move template files to a temporary folder, then install the new software, then move the template files back - then I have ALL the templates, old and new.
