Are my CSS designs good?

The website it's is under construction but I made some CSS's anyway with website templates and all downloadable and easy to customise, but I need people to give some feedback on the designs and how easy they are to customise after downloading the Zip package. http://www.freecss.co.nr/css.html If you download a zip, extract it and open index.html and nav.html for editting, I need to know if my instructions with the <!-- --> comments tags are clear enough for users. (The last CSS is based on the SmashBros. website)

Public Comments

1. First and Second examples aren't nice. They look too much solid and colors aren't attractive. Third example is looking good - needs some extra work but looking better. The forth example is the best and it looks smooth and professional. I think you are good at CSS, but you should work on improving your designing skills, but your doing a decent work so far. 2. Take a look at these again in IE6 or below. Since (unfortunately) a good majority of web users are using Internet Exploder...you should always test your designs with previous and current versions... The positioning of your elements are a bit off.
