DH Templates

why can't I get the templates from free websites to go onto my google blog? ?

Why is this so difficult? I just want to use a different template on my google blog. I keep trying to get the codes off other free websites and use them but either google won't take it or I can't get the code when I open the zip file. Can anyone explain in SIMPLE STEP BY STEP instructions on how to do this? that didn't work. It won't accept it, it keeps saying error.

1. all u do is highlight the code and right click then press copy. then when u get were u want to put it press paste and save
