Theatre Troupe Thankyou for donation letter?

My Troupe just did our first raffle and I'd like to send out a letter so the donors can write it off on their taxes. I can't seem to find a template or a sample anywhere online that doesn't sound completely dumb. Does anyone have a sample letter that I could use? 1. You have the proper tax status so that your donors can write off their contributions? If so, a simple thank you letter, as gracious as possible, acknowledging their contribution, and reminding them that they can take it off their taxes is simple and classy and to the point. Take the opportunity to add a personal touch if that is appropriate.
