in powerpoint, how do i apply a design template from one presentation to another presentation?

1. Basically, you: 1) open both presentations 2) work in the presentation you wish to copy the master from 3) enter master mode (View --> Master --> Slide Master) 4) right-mouse click the master slide you wish to copy and select copy 5) switch to the other presentation you wish to copy the master slide to 6) again, enter master mode (View --> Master --> Slide Master 7- right-mouse click inside the master slide pane on the left and select 'paste'. 8 - Done. Exit the master view. You should now be able to apply the new design template using the slide design panel on the right to slides.
