PowerPoint 2000 question?
I'm using PowerPoint version 2000, and when I make slide shows, I want different designs for every slide. But mine doesn't work that way, how do I do it? In a friend's house, there is this big box at the right side and all you do is click design template and choose a design. There is an arrow next to it and if I click it, I can apply the design for the selected slide. This is suppose to be a project, how can I do this?

- You seem to already have the correct process.. When you choose the design and right click, you can select to apply the design only to the selected slide. Click "New Slide" and the next will appear with the same design as the last. Simply go back to the design options, choose another, right click and apply to selected slide. That will give you the design variety you're wanting.
- The ability to apply a slide design to selected slides was introduced in Powerpoint 2002. Powerpoint 2000 and earlier do not have this feature. But see http://www.echosvoice.com/multipletemplates.htm for some workarounds. -- garfield-n-odie Microsoft MVP 2005-2008 http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/
