Where can I find a great (free!) CSS layout/template for this project?

Here's the scoop: Every year my college publishes a book with art and literary work done by the students. The website that was created for the group who publishes this book is quite ugly. I mean super ugly! It's my job to redo the website. At first I was just going to change some colors here and there but now I am thinking I want to just redo the whole thing entirely! I am looking for a nice, fresh layout that will appeal to college students. Something simple yet eye-catching. I've already done a Google search and haven't been too impressed by what I have found. I know that there are sites out there run by students/teens/young adults who make really great layouts that will appeal to the age group I'm targeting. If you or someone you know makes these types of layout, speak up! (Credit will be given where credit is due!) **I don't care what headers to any of the sites look like, if they are cartooney or whatever because I will make a new header. All I see on Whateverlife are Myspace layouts. (I used to go there like two years ago for all my Myspace needs. lol) I don't see actual site layouts there... Any other ideas, anyone?

1. you can try http://whateverlife.com/write/ it has lots of layouts and it also teach you how to make your own, so if you don't like her layouts, you can make your own.
