Can anyone help me with my CV for theatre?

I'm applying for work experience at a theatre and I need a CV but since I'm only 14 I don't have much to write. All I can think of is what GCSEs I'm taking and a few little bits of drama I've doen along the way but I have no idea how to set it out. Can anyone help? A template would be great, if not, some ideas?

  1. Use this (no need to include employment sections obviously!): http://home.aubg.bg/students/GPP050/SampleCV.gif The basic details come first: your name, address and contact details. Then your profile (type of personality you have, skills you have - are you a team worker, problem solver? - and what you are aiming for in your position). Then your education (don't mention anything before GCSEs). Then your extracurricular experience.
  2. Don't worry- I'm also 14 and I also wanted to do my work experience at a theatre and I also had to write a CV! Just follow this: First, you put your name, address, contact numbers and email address (the last one is optional.) Then you put the "Objective" of the CV- ours is "16+ Application." Then, you put your "Experience At College"- did you ever do any drama or dance clubs or anything? Were you in any of the productions? Have you ever won any awards for anything? Were you involved in any charity work? You can also put "2 weeks work experience" here, or however long you're going to do it for. Next is your "Experience Outside College." eg. Dance classes, Drama classes, music lessons, any shows you've performed in, any jobs you've had or have got at the moment, if you're part of any sports teams or anything... In both the "Experience" categories, you write EVERYTHING, not just your experince to do eith theatres and the performing arts. Then you write "Education." Put the year that you started at your current school and write the name of your school and where it is situated. Then draw a table and record all the GCSE's you're taking. Do one column for the subject, one column for what year, you'll be taking it and one column for your predicted grade in each subject. After that, it's your "Interests" so you can write anything that you enjoy- but not anything to do with things like partying or boys!- on mine, I wrote "Acting, Singing, Dancing & Shooping." Finally, you put some "Refences" for your employer to contact if they need to. You put the name of your Headteacher and the adddress of the college, and then the name of your boss the address of your workplace, (if you have a job.) And that's it! I wrote this whilst reading everything off a copy of my own CV, so it's exactly how we had to set out ours. It must be pretty similar to how they want you to do your's. Try it, and then get it checked by your Careers teacher, or whoever it is who's organising everyone's CV's in your school. Good luck with it and with getting your placement at the theatre! Harriet xx
