- Just a brief summery of your strengths and goals and what drives you etc. It's a PERSONAL statement so it is to give an insight into your personality.
- There is free software available on the net for this, but it really is fairly simple. 1) All you personal details, address, phone number, etc., followed by your date of birth. Then write a paragraph about yourself, your ambitions, how you see yourself and how your know you can contribute to the company or organisation you are applying to for a job. Just give them an idea of the kind of person you are. Don't go over the top, but don't be too modest. Use this paragraph to grab the person who will read it! Try and make him/her feel that HERE is a person worth talking to! Next list your previous employment. If you have had a lot of jobs in the past, then give convincing reasons for having left. As an ex-interviewer, when I saw a big list of jobs over a short period of time, I usually lost interest. Someone who flits from job to job is usually NOT a good person to employ! In short, make it short, but interesting! Remember to include anything and everything the prospective employer may have asked for. Good luck
- That's not how you spell "personal" for a start; but if you send your CV to anyone in the NHS it will end up in the bin. Fill in the application forms like you are supposed to. You have been warned. EDIT: NHS don't accept CVs
