  1. Normally there is an Objective statement befor your education or employment history. You can see examples of CV's (or resumes) on sites like http://www.about.com
  2. I always put Name, Address, Telephone Number(s), email address, then the personal profile. Then all the boring stuff like qualifications and previous jobs and references.

  4. you can find templates on windows if you're not sure
  5. you know, you don't actually HAVE to include you address or date of birth. i was watching the news the other day and people are using peoples cv's to commit fraud because people are putting unnecessary data and flinging it about. if you think about it would you really want people you don't know to receive such personal data? whilst i agree on the other hand they need to get in contact but why not suggest they give you a call or leave you an email. it shows intelligence and how you can be wary of things
  6. a simple google yields these sites which may be useful to you: http://careersadvice.direct.gov.uk/helpwithyourcareer/writecv/ http://www.delaneyditchfield.co.uk/job_tips_and_advice/the_best_way_to_format_a_cv.aspx http://cvwriting.net/product_GENERAL Hope they help!
