free css templates?

Ok, so i have found a css template. I tweaked it and everything so it's pretty much ready to go. Since i'm using a template, its covered by the creative commons license. So my question is, is it legal to make money off the site, whether its from ads or for charging people for a service? k thank you

1. There are different kinds of Creative Commons licenses, and you must follow the terms of the particular license that the template was released under. If the license name has something like "non-commercial" or "nc" in it you are not allowed to use it for commercial purposes, i.e. make money off of it. If it has something like "no derivatives" or "nd" you are not allowed to modify it. It all depends on the particular type of Creative Commons license. Read about the licenses at the site below.

HI there, your point is valid, but you are not selling the template for making the money, you used the templet for building you website, there is no worng that you can place add, or providing your own service. what License is telling is that you cont sell the copy of the templet only, they are not tell that you cont make money with your site because your using there templet.
