Which one is a better option - ready made flash template or a custom website design?

I am new to web designing .Can any one tell me which is better option for me to choose.

1. You might want to try both if possible to see which one you like better. Everyone's need is different.

3. The choice between a ready made flash template or a custom web site design is typically governed by the budget and the time period available for the particular project. Both options have their own merits and demerits. I always prefer a custom web site design myself, since it gives you a unique web appearance. But when I am hard-pressed for time and have to work within a smaller budget I go for ready made flash templates.
